Bean to... Singapore

Here are some photos from my recent trip to Singapore, including snaps from the indie boutiques on Haji Lane, the National Museum of Singapore and Little India. I took all of these with my Digital Harinezumi. I love this camera -- its snaps have a faded, nostalgic, somewhat surreal quality.

  2. Gorgeous and ethereal. I love the image of the slippers. WOW...

Missus Catherine... could I ever trouble you to fish an anatomically correct pendant from that store - (what was it called?) F*ck Barbie? I would paypal you the funds for the necklace and the shipping!

How was the trip? Are you happy to be back home? Were you missed?

    Best from Chicago!

  6. Darlene-I'll take a look for you and if FYB still has the heart pendant I'll pick one up for you. I had a great time and my husband tells me our cat missed me :-).

MJ-Thanks! The Digital Harinezumi is actually a digital camera that takes really cool, lofi-ish photos. I love film cameras, too, but I love the instant gratification (not to mention not spending too much money on film!)

  7. Oh my goodness, Catherine! How lovely! I'll be moving to Singapore in a couple of months, and I am soaking up every photograph and story I hear about the place, so I was so thrilled to find this post while catching up on your wonderful blog! By the looks of your photos and your bunny shirt, I'm going to love it! Did you go for business? Pleasure? Bunnies? Great camera!
    xoxo,
